While the property was under-contract, the property was hit by an organized ring of copper thief’s, which through a major wrench in the closing process. Fortunately, Fletcher has vast experience working with insurance providers, and was able to get a a case, a claim and a settlement in less than two weeks that was agreeable to all parties.
Since Closing, Fletcher was able to negotiate lease terms with a home-town favorite QSR chain, Guthrie’s Chicken. Guthrie’s is excited to open a new location on Apalachee Parkway and expand their presence in the Tallahassee market. When asked about the timeline for the opening of the new location, Mr. Dilmore said, “We can’t wait for the new Guthrie’s to open, it’s going to be a great new location and is expected opening in Q3 of this year.”
