Todays “Friends & Family Grand Opening Event” at The Shops at Bannerman Village Publix was a day 4+ years in the making and I had to keep reminding myself it wasn’t a dream anymore. This project from the initial rezoning hearing of a residential tract of land to signing a lease with Publix, to the ground breaking of the shopping center and finally the grand opening of Publix has given Jared and I more grey hairs and experience than one would ever believe. I want to thank the Ghazvini family for letting two young 20 somethings run with this idea and Boos Development for seeing it to completion and creating the most beautiful grocery store in the state and last but not least Jared Jackson for being the best friend and business partner a man could ask for. Oh, and thank God for Publix!
