Some may say that the literary pairing of Robert Greene of “48 Laws of Power,” fame and Rapper 50 Cent is an odd combination but in “The 50th Law,” the tag team just makes sense. “The 50th Law,” is a truly unique book. Easy to read but difficult to categorize, it is part biography, part business memoir, part personal-development, part philosophy, and wholly interesting. The book is a step away from the usual business and self development curriculum and has a way of going to a harsher reality than is usually explored in the world of business. I found the book to be extremely interesting, refreshing and hard to put down, just like Mr. Greene’s other works.
On the Fletcher Dilmore book review scale, I would give “The 50th Law,” a perfect 10/10, would recommend for any young adult who wants to better understand the hustle and struggle it takes to reach success. I’d also highly recommend the audio version of this book, read by both Robert Greene and 50 Cent, a true treat.
